PAPER BALL BASKETBALL!
Write your child's speech sounds or target words on pieces of paper and crumple them up into a ball. Have your child choose a ball, open it up, say the word/produce a sentence, and then crumple it back up and toss the paper ball into a basket/trash can. For competitive kiddos, you can keep score of how many they produce correctly and make into the basket! Speech sound targets: Look for items around your house or yard that have your speech sound in it! When items are found, have your child say the word 5 times using their speech sound correctly before writing it on their list or taking a picture. See how many things they can find in 20 minutes! Language/grammar targets: Make a list of items for your child to find (ex. something green, something that needs batteries - reference the list below for ideas!). For your child to cross it off their list, they need to tell you a complete and grammatically correct sentence using their therapy targets! Thank you for visiting this page!
