READ A BOOK TOGETHER!
Speech sound targets: Find words or pictures together that include your child’s speech sound within the book. Have them practice their sounds in the words they find! Language/grammar targets: Talk about what is happening in the book while reading and/or looking at pictures. Incorporate their targets into the conversation (ex. working on irregular past tense: The boy and girl RAN to the park!). You can send a picture of your child working on their speech/language or doing a learning activity to win prizes! Please send pictures to [email protected]
